The Dalian Sports Center in Dalian, China, is a comprehensive sports complex that spans 820,000 square meters.Completed in 2012, it meets international standards for hosting major events.

Designed with the theme “Pulse of Sports,” it integrates Dalian’s rich sports culture and regional characteristics, showcasing the beauty of sports and the essence of the sea.

The stadium features flowing curves, with an exterior resembling the stitched leather of a football. It uses ETFE membrane material, which enhances the stadium’s dynamic appearance. The combination of blue and white creates a wave-like effect, reflecting Dalian’s football and maritime culture.

This stadium is the world’s second-largest single-building ETFE membrane structure, second only to Beijing’s Water Cube, with an exterior membrane facade exceeding 100,000 square meters.
