The Jinan Airport Phase II expansion project aims to enhance its role as a key passenger hub. The project includes the construction of a new 600,000-square-meter T2 terminal, a 387,000-square-meter integrated transportation center and parking facility, overnight passenger accommodations, office buildings, and a control tower.

The terminal area combines local culture, greenery, human-centered design, smart technology, and scenic landscapes, creating a vibrant urban core that integrates transportation, culture, and commerce.

Inside the T2 terminal, three “spring” ETFE  Film domes are located in the busiest areas, forming the main spaces. These domes not only resemble springs but also capture their fluid and graceful essence, showcasing the blend of water and architecture through detailed design. The ETFE  membrane structure is lightweight and transparent, featuring an advanced and reliable self-cleaning mist system.
