Leshan Olympic Center, located in Suji New District, Shizhong District, Leshan City, spans an area of about 339 mu (approximately 226,000 square meters). The project includes “one field and three gymnasiums”: a 30,000-seat main stadium, a 7,000-seat secondary stadium, a 2,000-seat swimming pool, and a comprehensive training hall. Additionally, the center houses industrial supporting buildings, underground garages, equipment rooms, and outdoor sports venues.

       Leshan Olympic Center features a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) membrane roof supported by a flexible cable suspension system. The overall design resembles an irregular oval shape. After thorough discussions and planning, the roof was divided into 42 membrane units, each corresponding to a specific construction area. A single, large, and complete PTFE membrane covers each unit. These units are tightly connected, ensuring a seamless and aesthetically pleasing appearance while being economically practical.
