This project is a villa complex for a five-star hotel in the Xiangshawan AAAAA tourist area in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. Located in the desert, the area has a typical temperate continental climate with strong sunlight, high winds, and low rainfall. The architects designed each villa with a 400-square-meter PVC tensile membrane to provide shade and block wind and sand. The translucent membrane allows natural light, creating a comfortable living space. The arrangement forms a blooming snow lotus, naming the Lotus Hotel.

Each membrane unit has stabilizing, ridge, and edge cables, ensuring safety with the steel and membrane structure.

The membrane structure offers an attractive, nearly perfect environment for relaxation and socializing, allowing guests to enjoy natural light and connect with the outdoors from within their villa. This design enhances comfort and a sense of belonging, making it an exceptional place to stay.
